December 4, 2013:
Rolling chassis loaded up on the trailer in order to take her to the car
wash. Using the power washer there will
allow me to remove the 60+ years of dirt and grease that have accumulated on
the undercarriage and frame. Thanks for your help loading her on the trailer
Jeff and Ethan Lawson. The temperature today was up in the 40’s so I
figure I might not get another day like this until May. What a mess this was. I wore my ACU Gortex pants, jacket and
cold weather boots which made it bearable.
I should have brought a pair of goggles as the grease was matted all over my face. It's not easy to scrub engine grease out of your hair unless the water is close to boiling!!
